Playoff Odds
How it works: Each remaining matchup is simulated 5,000 times using team scoring averages and league-wide scoring variation. Early results are stabilized with three games at the league average, so actual team performance supplies 25% of the forecast after Week 1, 40% after Week 2, and 50% after Week 3 before gaining more weight each week. Movement compares the current odds with the model after the previous completed week; partial weeks do not count. For entertainment only — assumes lineups and rosters stay constant. Odds are capped at 1–99% until a team mathematically clinches a playoff spot or is eliminated.
